York Nightlife

Jun 14, 2017 · I'm from Manchester, which has an amazing nightlife with clubs that play all types of music, loads of pubs and gigs. Obviously I know York will be nowhere near as vibrant as Manchester. I would say York has a better bar/pub scene than club. York has got loads of pubs and bars, its nightlife is really lively! Its difficult to be bored in York, there's always lots going on. If you haven't been to an Open Day, you should defo go and see for yourself! York's clubs are pretty much like any other chain of clubs in the UK, boring and uninspired, apart from Salvation which actually has some theme nights (candyfloss night was awesome!) but that gets waay.

I've heard there is an abudance of pubs in York and for clubbing most people go to Leeds? From experience, what would you say? And is it expensive/a bit of a trek to get to Leeds? Or are there.
